Explore the Colorado mountains with action packed Adventures brought to you by River Runners & Rocky Mountain Adventure Rentals. Adventures will take place Saturday & Sunday of Seven Peaks & have you back on site by 3pm so you can enjoy a full day at the festival!

Seven Peaks Activities

  • Fly Fishing

    Half Day Float Fishing Excursion

    Fly Fish the Gold Medal headwaters of the Arkansas River from a comfortable raft and reel in Brown and Rainbow trout! This world class float fishing adventure includes all equipment you need for an enjoyable day of fly fishing; along with snacks and beverages. Trip duration is approximately 4 hours. Anglers will float a class II section from Johnson Village to Nathrop. Transportation to and from the festival venue is included. Beginners welcome!

    – $199 per person*

    – Half Day Float Fishing Adventure- 2 anglers per raft

    – Shuttle leaves at 9am on the 31st, 1st and 2nd

    – Advanced reservations required

    *a 5.25% Recreational Area use fee will be added to your total upon booking

    Learn to Fly Fish Clinic

    Learn to cast a fly rod, and practice other beginning fly fishing skills, on site at the Seven Peaks music festival! Fly fishing experts from Buena Vista Fly shop (BV Fly) will be on site offering three, one-hour clinics on August 30th for festival goers. Clinic participants will receive a voucher to BV Fly shop good for a discount on flies or a rod & reel package.

    – $20 per person

    – One hour casting clinics offered at 11am, 12pm and 1pm (10 participant maximum in each)

    – Advanced reservations preferred; walk-ins welcome if space is available

  • Arkansas River Raft Trip

    Enjoy nature with some added thrill on a class III whitewater rafting trip down the Arkansas River. Expect about two hours on the river plus orientation and logistics.

  • Side-by-Side ATV Tours

    Trout Creek Pass / Fourmile Area
    This location offers many loop options! Choose one or all for your day adventure: Natural Bridge rock formation, Eagles Roost, historic site of the Goddard homestead, Spanish Mills featuring an arrastra (primitive mining site). All of this with a backdrop of the 14,000+ ft Collegiate Peaks.

    Brown’s Canyon National Monument
    Enjoy the panoramic views of the Collegiate Peaks while adventuring around Brown’s Canyon National Monument. On your adventure you will experience backcountry canyons featuring granite spires, dense forest, and expansive ridges.

    St. Elmo / Mt. Antero
    These trails offer moderate to difficult high altitude terrain and some of the most spectacular Colorado views. Visit the historic ghost town of St. Elmo on your way up to Tin Cup Pass which boasts an elevation of over 12,000ft and is surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the region towering over 14,000ft. The St. Elmo and Mt. Antero regions require previous experience and have a higher per-machine deductible.

    This inflatable kayak tour includes gear and a shuttle to and from the festival venue. Start on a calm stretch of river where you can find your paddle stroke, practice ferrying across the current and catch eddies. Then go four miles up the river for a guided class II kayak trip right back to River Runners.
